I believe being raised in the ancient city of  Istanbul has left me with a deep appreciation for many cultures around the world. As a child I was exposed to artistic traditions of many bygone civilizations; among them were Hittite, Greek, Byzantine, Roman and Ottoman cultures. I still remember as a child dreaming of how other cultures interpret the same human pathos in their mythologies, customs, costumes, food and religion. I marveled at it and still do today! What an amazing world we live in… what a variety! This gallery is dedicated to all world mythologies.
